Taiwan, “Elevated Realm”

Snuper Design oversaw the interior design of this elegant penthouse on the top floor of a luxurious residential building in Taichung. 

The height of the rooms and the quality of the materials employed – from premium marble to exquisite wood – interact harmoniously with the refinement of the furnishings, in a quest to find the ideal balance between solid and void spaces. The outcome is a serene setting that is both understated and elegant, where every detail is meticulously curated. 

Light and expansiveness stand out as the authentic protagonists in the spacious living area – hub of the entire living space. Here, the Flexform products selected to furnish the environment are conceived as volumetric elements that define the rhythm and flow of the space, giving shape to a harmonious and balanced whole. 

Alongside a corner composition of the Harper sectional sofa is a stand-alone arrangement of the Groundpiece sofa. The armrests, clad in tobacco-color cowhide, are the signature feature of both sofas. With their structure in wood and woven paper rush cord, two Tessa armchairs lend airy lightness to the space, alongside a Fly side table with marble top. Placed between the two sofas is an inviting leather-upholstered Feel Good armchair. 

Adjoining the living space are the kitchen and dining room. The latter is built around an impressive wood table surrounded by Alma dining chairs with metal structure. Four Feel Good stools in metal and tobacco-color leather add a touch of warmth to the kitchen island. 

Completing the living space is a reading niche nestled next to double-height windows that offer magnificent views of the city skyline. It’s the ideal location for the Sveva armchair with swivel base and high backrest, paired with the Tindari ottoman in woven cowhide. 

The Perry Up sofa brings sumptuous comfort to the master bedroom. Alongside the bed, two Jiff side tables with top and base in Canaletto walnut serve as nightstands. A Tessa bench was selected to complete the walk-in closet decor. 

In another suite, the Any Day desk with brick-color metal structure, and the First Steps chair with woven backrest and seat, create a practical yet sophisticated home-office corner.
