FINLAND, PRIVATE HOME
The interior design for this striking private home was curated by architect Minna Jones, whose clients, a couple with a passion for contemporary design, worked like a team alongside her. Located in Finland, in the seaside village of Suvisaaristo, in the Espoo district, the home faces the Soukka peninsula. It sits in a natural landscape of breathtaking untouched beauty.
Large windows that open onto the garden flood the open-space living room with light. Next to the fireplace is an inviting arrangement of the Lifesteel seating system upholstered in soft tobacco color leather. A Bangkok ottoman, also clad in leather, and a pair of elegant yet functional Carlotta side tables complete the lounge decor. Crono dining chairs with hand-woven cowhide backrests form a confident complement to the dining table.
Feel Good stools upholstered in tobacco color leather provide counter seating in the elegant custom-designed kitchen, while the Cestone bed continues the theme in the owners’ bedroom on the floor above.
