About an hour outside of Winnipeg, in the quiet town of Steinbach, this modern refuge is suggestive of an urban loft dropped into lush green surroundings.
The walls clad in cedar and natural stone and vast expanses of glass that look out onto the patio and pool form a homogeneous backdrop that enhances the visual and physical relationship between interior and exterior spaces. 
Relaxing neutral shades were chosen for the furnishings. The size of the home allowed Secter Architecture + Design to develop several living spaces. The Soft Dream sofa has pride of place in the living room with garden view, while the Groundpiece sofa was selected for the family room. An attractive conversation area was created by arranging four Luce armchairs in a circle around a Fly coffee table with luxurious Emperador marble top. Upholstered in dark brown saddle hide, the stylish Isabel chairs complete the formal dining room while the kitchen island is home to the Feel Good bar stools.
