Cantiere delle Marche, Nauta Air M/Y Narvalo

A refined evolution of the contemporary explorer yacht, where technical reliability, cruising range and architectural quality converge in a cohesive design.

Flagship of the Nauta Air range, M/Y Narvalo is an explorer yacht measuring more than 33 meters. The project is the result of a collaboration between Cantiere delle Marche and Nauta Design, which was responsible for both the exterior and interior design. Narvalo is an evolution of the explorer-yacht concept, combining the robustness, range and safety typical of the category with a contemporary design language distinguished by elegance, visual lightness and exceptional onboard livability.

The trademark feature of the project is the Nauta Air concept, developed by Nauta Design to redefine the relationship between interior architecture and the outdoors. The concept seeks to dissolve the traditional separation between enclosed interiors and open-air spaces, creating visual and functional continuity through expansive glazing, full-height openings and a fluid spatial layout. Lightness is the guiding principle – expressed through structures designed to minimize perceived weight and through the pursuit of natural light and transparency

In this context, the interior design interprets the yacht as a true contemporary residence conceived for ocean cruising. The spaces are defined by a restrained design language free of superfluous decoration, allowing materials, proportions and light to become the principal elements of the composition.

The main saloon unfolds as a continuous open space directly connected to the aft cockpit through extensive sliding glass doors, creating a single environment in which the boundary between indoors and out becomes almost imperceptible. Here, the Flexform Groundpiece sofa and matching coffee table clad in dark brown cowhide furnish the space, lending an additional note of refinement to the living area.
