Portugal, private ocean front home
Elegant villa with pool on the Óbidos coast.
This ocean front villa designed by the SousaSantos Arquitectos architectural firm blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while fully respecting the marine ecosystem.
The home’s architectural identity is defined by the large windows that run along the facade, offering uninterrupted panoramic views and blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors, allowing the shifting rhythm of the sea to shape the mood within.
The interior design, curated by Studio Forma 96, reflects the same concept as the exterior architecture, creating minimalist-inspired rooms that are elegant and comfortable.
Heart of the home, the spacious living room opens onto the terrace and is furnished with a selection of Flexform products. The Groundpiece sofa is upholstered in a bouclé fabric perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere of the room. Two Guscioalto Light armchairs flanked by Fly side tables complete the decor.
One of the sun-lit bedrooms on the ground floor is home to the Gregory bed with headboard upholstered in a light-colored fabric. Facing it, the Giano ottoman and Crono armchair, both featuring ash wood structure and dark cowhide cord.
The entrance to the refined spa is furnished with a Tessa armchair paired with the eponymous ottoman and coffee table.
