The designer shares the origin of the design concept for the new outdoor seating collection presented during MDW26.
Monica Armani reveals the inspiration behind Margherì – a line of seating elements defined by restraint, conveyed through clean lines, inviting shapes and balanced proportions. The design theme is expressed in the curved steel structure gently shaped to form graceful petals clad in cord on the armrests and backrests. The structure, epoxy powder-coated in elegant shades, dialogues seamlessly with the polypropylene cord color palette and the elegant upholstery fabric options for the generously padded cushions.
