In every Flexform design there is something that goes beyond form – a sense of continuity, a recognizable identity – that is expressed in different versions while maintaining design consistency. As in a family, where each person has their own individuality but shares a deep connection with the others. For Flexform and Antonio Citterio, this is the sense of the design project – to create collections that originate in a unified design theme that is then developed on different scales, from the cozy proportions of a dining chair to the generous dimensions of a sectional sofa. A concept that takes shape, even in furnishings designed for the outdoors, in both residential settings and the world of hospitality. Consistent with this view, the Oasis and Calipso families were expanded. Their shared sinuous lines, splendid weaving and versatility translate to a number of new pieces – from dining chairs, stools, tables and coffee tables to small armchairs, lounge settees and sun lounger daybeds.
An overarching harmony, where each element dialogs with the others to create sophisticated, welcoming, impeccably balanced settings, whether patios, porches, gardens or poolside. Always in the name of the same family.
