An exploration of formal purity crafted entirely in wood, expressed with a distinctly Italian sense of refinement. In Marquis, Antonio Citterio’s design places the material at the forefront, allowing grain, craftsmanship and proportions to define the character of the tables and coffee tables. The subtly tapered solid wood legs introduce an elegant dynamism that lightens the structure and guides the eye toward the tabletop. In the versions with a circular top, the veneer forms a contemporary geometric inlay that enlivens the surface with a discreet rhythm, while the beveled edge reduces the visual impact of the volume, making the top appear thinner and lighter. The tables and coffee tables share a sculptural yet understated presence, where the simplicity of the design becomes a form of quiet elegance that once again highlights the expert craftsmanship and attention to detail that define the Flexform aesthetic.
