IMM Cologne 2020

Flexform unveils a series of major innovations on the IMM Cologne international stage.

This year, a larger exhibit space than in the past allowed Flexform to showcase the introduction of its first Outdoor Collection, launched to rave reviews in April at the international Salone del Mobile furniture show in Milan.

The Outdoor Collection also kindled great admiration among industry professionals and the public who swarmed the Flexform space throughout the exhibition. 

Distinct praise also rained down on two new outdoor products making their official debut at IMM Cologne: the Grandemare Outdoor seating system, designed by Antonio Citterio, and the Alison Outdoor sofa by Carlo Colombo.

The Grandemare Outdoor sofa is built upon a clustering of soft, generously padded cushions designed to deliver exceptional comfort.

The Alison Outdoor sofa – available in two- and three-seat versions – eloquently interprets the original design of the eponymous armchair designed by Carlo Colombo. 

The concept for the Flexform space was expressed through an elegant series of settings, including living and dining areas and bedrooms, designed to afford visitors a captivating view of the vast and versatile Flexform collection. It also formed a sophisticated backdrop for the most recently launched products, like the Romeo and Campiello seating systems and best-sellers, like Groundpiece and Soft Dream.

IMM Cologne 2020 also provided the platform for presentation of the new Flexform logo, a design evolution that nods to the brand’s increasing internationalization.
