This year, unlike any before it, the need to live in close contact with Nature has made itself felt.
Cities are being redesigned around urban reforestation projects while private balconies, terraces and gardens have become a precious asset to be enjoyed with a new kind of awareness.
Taking shape under the spectacular arches of the Basilica of San Simpliciano is an installation curated by Elle Decor Italia that narrates the many faces of living in outdoor spaces. A rediscovery of the pleasure of dwelling in a real, authentic outdoor room.
Flexform is participating in this special project with a series of islands of comfort and relaxation. Two elegant Ortigia Outdoor settees placed face-to-face create an inviting conversation area. A Zefiro Outdoor coffee table in the center holds books, magazines and vases filled with fresh flowers. Continuing along the cloistered path, there are two Atlante daybeds whose lightweight good looks and finely tailored details speak sophisticated comfort. Lastly, take a seat on the inviting Ontario sofa whose sleek wood-framed lines surround the enveloping seat cushions. Completing the arrangement are a Tindari Outdoor coffee table and delightful Ortigia Outdoor armchair.
