ROME, ART AND DESIGN AT PALAZZO BORROMEO

The exhibit “Contemporaries at Palazzo Borromeo. Art and design in the Italian Embassy to the Holy See” takes a contemporary look at the bond between art, culture and artisan-crafted objects that is part of the long history of Palazzo Borromeo.

This cultural event aims to highlight the work of internationally acclaimed Italian artists and designers as well as some of the companies that are ambassadors of Italian excellence around the world.

The collection includes 15 works of art and 10 design objects located throughout the gardens, in the cloister and in the rooms of the palazzo.

Among the objects chosen is the Magister sofa designed by Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava in 1982 and since then among the most representative and popular products in the Flexform collection.
