Spain, Private home on Mallorca
This design of a villa with a swimming pool blends harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.
Although it is completely new, the construction of this home appears to be an authentic renovation. For ECA, authors of the design project for this villa on the Island of Mallorca, it was crucial that the building not only blend seamlessly with its surroundings but also respect the principles of the traditional local architecture.
A balanced series of built and open spaces creates a fluid transition between the various rooms in the home while showcasing the spectacular panoramic views. The use of local stone, stoneware and reed materials in the verandas lends an air of relaxed elegance that also extends to the living room, furnished with a Romeo sofa paired with Happy armchairs, both designed by Antonio Citterio.
