Antonio Citterio on the Flexform 2026 Collection
A video exploring the relationship between materials, form and new designs, an expression of the creative dialogue between the designer and Flexform.
Against a minimalist backdrop, Antonio Citterio settles into the Quincy sofa to introduce the new designs in the 2026 Collection. The dynamic sequence of images alternates between black and white and color, with a deliberately informal backstage aesthetic that breaks away from the conventions of a traditional interview.
The conversation unfolds around four designs united by an approach in which purity of line allows the quality of the materials and the distinctive character of each piece to emerge. The Quincy sofa is inspired by the idea of bringing people together: its enveloping contours create a modular system designed to encourage interaction. The Clarence series of cabinets offers a fresh interpretation of cowhide, a material deeply rooted in Flexform's DNA, through a family of pieces distinguished by clean, minimalist lines. Oak, wenge and Italian walnut take center stage in the Marquis tables – their distinctive qualities defining the character of each piece. Finally, the Everett Outdoor seating system brings its signature comfort to outdoor spaces, with a daybed framed by woven panels that create an intimate, personal retreat.
The video also highlights the value of a relationship cultivated over time, shaped by the ongoing exchange of ideas, evolving needs and reflections on the role of each product within the collection.
