China, Flexform Nanking flagship store opens
Compared to other large Chinese cities, Nanking has a more restrained style – lovely in its simplicity and with a much less hectic way of life.
The new Flexform showroom is located in the BNJ HOME building on Longpan Middle Road, Nanking’s main thoroughfare. Architectural inspiration was drawn from Villa Savoye by Le Corbusier. Its white color communicates modernity, as well as calm and understatement, characteristics that also define the Flexform style.
The showroom’s interior design was curated by the Milan-based Flexform Design Center. Like the company’s Milan flagship store that opened in June of 2022, it is a flexible space that can easily be reconfigured, tailor-made to deliver an immersive brand experience.
Charming settings where no detail has been left to chance, form the backdrop for the most representative products in the Flexform collection – from the best-selling Groundpiece seating system to the Asolo and Cestone sofas and Happy Hour and Guscioalto armchairs, to name just some of the furnishings on display in the showroom.
A specific area was set aside for the Outdoor collection, featuring teak flooring and luxuriant plants that contribute to creating a rarefied, relaxing atmosphere.
The values upon which Flexform’s global identity is founded – authentic Made in Italy style, exquisite elegance beyond the whims of time and fashion, contemporary design, superior quality, unrivaled comfort and fine craftsmanship – are all magnificently expressed in this new exhibit space.
