56th Salone del Mobile.Milano
The large FLEXFORM stand designed by the architect Antonio Citterio has been completely updated due to the new position of FLEXFORM at Salone 2017 (Pavilion 5, Stand E11-F02).
The display concept calling for the subdivision into living islands organized around masterpiece products has been conserved, joined by a new architectural feature: a small internal courtyard with green shrubs and plants, faced by the spaces that display the new collections. The courtyard represents a spatial concept with deep roots in the history of our country, originating in the structure of ancient Roman villas. The striking large wall at the back of the stand is in Levanto red marble, emphasizing the focus on this elegant stone that enhances the overall context. The pale travertine of the floors also runs along the walls to provide a neutral chromatic frame. The slim dividers in metal screen and the light drapes that define the spaces add rhythm to an itinerary in a calm, relaxing atmosphere. A raised area contains the workspaces, designed as a true lounge zone, so that even workspaces can take on more vivid domestic connotations.
