The aesthetic of the First Steps Outdoor chair clearly reveals the design philosophy of Christophe Pillet, who explains: “I am not on a quest for the extraordinary, but rather for that which is beautiful and able to kindle emotion in the ordinary”.
This impassioned exploration of the essence of things is also fully developed in the design of the First Steps chair whose lyric simplicity seems to trace back to the archetypal object-chair.
The sinuous structure that rises to form the metal backrest is available in different finishes, while the tightly woven seat material is entirely hand-made in either woven matt polypropylene cord in an array of sophisticared colours.
.The same design and materials appear in the bar stool, whose refined appearance translates to undeniable versatility, making it a tasteful and discreet fit in any setting.
It is strongly advised that the respective covers be used to keep the First Steps Outdoor chairs in top condition and prolong their original beauty as much as possible.

Structure in 316 stainless steel with electropolished or epoxy-powder-coat finish in white 100, wine red 405, khaki green 705, burnished or with embossed lacquered finish in white 300, sand 310, brick 320 and sage green 330
Seat in 316 stainless steel with woven matt polypropylene cord in natural 8102, ice 8103, anthracite 8105 or straw 8101 color
Feet in cast aluminum with matt brushed finish. Feet rest on tips made of thermoplastic material
Cover in waterproof material; cover is upon request, with upcharge
