A unique, funnel-shaped copper roof gives this home landmark status in London’s Notting Hill district, visible sign of the strikingly singular renovation project of an 1840s home.  The architectural design was curated by architect Gianni Botsford. During the 8-year design and construction phase, Botsford and his team built a home that lies partially underground and is topped by a curved timber roof clad entirely in strips of copper.

In this captivating interior view of the living room, the eyes are spontaneously swept upward to admire the shape of the ceiling and the light that floods in through the large glass walls.

The Wing sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio, was chosen to furnish this one-of-a-kind living room. Complementing the space with its light, airy appearance, the Wing sofa’s architectural lines are formed by soft geometric shapes that have no sharp corners.
