This home is in Waverton, a peaceful residential suburb north of Sydney.

Architects Ink handled the architectural design and Kate Ronayne-Mahony the interiors.

If a restrained, neutral color palette was used for the walls and floors, the furnishings dare to be bold, with brilliant colors and innovative contrasts.

An original semicircular arrangement of the Alfred sofa, upholstered in a sophisticated purple melange fabric with contrasting pillows in white and turquoise, makes a dramatic statement in the living room.

The same contrast is also reflected in the Groundpiece sofa, upholstered in an elegant blue fabric with cushions in shades of purple and mauve.

A brilliant bordeaux was chosen to upholster the generously padded Groundpiece bed.
