Switzerland, Chalet Aconcagua

With an incomparable view of the Matterhorn and an abundance of quality restaurants and hotels, as well as numerous ski lifts, the town of Zermatt has a significant number of private homes that offer the ideal combination of idyllic alpine atmosphere and sophisticated lifestyle.

Luxury has risen to new heights in Zermatt. This famous ski resort is home to one of the most prestigious private chalet projects in the Alps: “Chalet Aconcagua” is one of seven sumptuous chalets that form the “7 Heavens” complex.

Chalet Aconcagua is located in Sils Engadin, in Alta Engadina, an area set like a jewel between lakes Sils and Silvaplana. The chalet’s imposing architecture radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the liberal use of wood, in the floors, on the walls, the ceiling and its exposed beams. Facing the spectacular, and surprisingly modern fireplace are several compositions of the Grandemare sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio and upholstered in subtle shades of ecru and grey. Rounding out the living room decor are two charming Ermione armchairs from the Flexform MOOD collection. Feel Good bar stools, upholstered in dark brown leather, were chosen for seating at the bar and Feel Good chairs, upholstered in dove grey leather, lend character and refinement to the dining room.

In the bedrooms, the Guscio armchairs and Feel Good ottomans create the perfect reading spot in front of the picture windows.
