DeLightFul Exhibition

FLEXFORM participates in the exhibition DeLightFuL, a project on contemporary design culture organized by the Salone del Mobile of Milan for its 56th edition.

FLEXFORM takes part in DeLightFuL, the exhibition organized by the Salone del Mobile on the theme of contemporary living.

The show is curated by Ciarmoli Queda Studio to convey an overview of contemporary living in an unusual, imaginative way. A visionary itinerary where iconic design pieces, including the Groundpiece and Zeno Light sofas, the A.B.C.D armchair and the Kidd tables, become “something else” thanks to an aesthetic reinterpretation that alters their appearance: the armrest of the Groundpiece sofa is covered with a precious manta ray and the A.B.C.D armchair is seen in a pop guise, with the metal tubing of the structure colored in fluo orange and an eco-fur cover.

The show is accompanied by a dreamy film by the director Matteo Garrone, who has decided to shoot the pieces outdoors, in spaces where trees, streams and uncontaminated nature form a backdrop and offer an original, unconventional vision of contemporary design. A return to the roots, of sorts.

The vantage point of this project appealed to FLEXFORM, which believes that the versatility of its products can lend itself to many different interpretations, adapting to the multiple cultures of dwelling with which they come to terms on a daily basis around the world.
